Korkia’s Green Finance Framework rated “Dark Green” and governance “Excellent” by S&P Global
Korkia received a second party opinion from S&P Global, an internationally recognized and leading provider of independent research-based reviews of Green Finance Frameworks.
Last fall Korkia received a Second Party Opinion (SPO) from S&P Global, an internationally recognized and leading provider of independent research-based reviews of Green Finance Frameworks.
Korkia’s Green Finance Framework (“GFF”) received the rating “Dark Green” and Korkia’s governance structure and processes the rating “Excellent” which are the highest scores in the categories.
The Shades of Green SPO states that the “Dark Green” shading reflects the importance of renewable energy generation and hydrogen from renewable sources (and their storage) in a 2050 future.
The governance score “Excellent”, in turn, reflects Korkia’s ability to integrate climate and environmental factors well into its investment process and solid reporting commitments under the framework.
“Our renewable energy investments and investment governance under GFF have now been audited and the exceptional results reflect our investment ethics. I want to thank the whole organization for their commitment in the company’s sustainability values. Korkia will continue to positively impact the transformation of global energy systems towards a net zero future,” says Jussi Lilja, Executive Vice President at Korkia.
