Learn more about Ville:
Q1: What in particular made you apply for a Korkia position?
What drew me to Korkia was its unique combination of sustainability, investment, and international project development. Korkia’s mission to deliver clean megawatts to the market felt meaningful, and the opportunity to contribute to the energy transition through real, tangible projects really resonated with me. I am also excited about applying my legal expertise in a business driven by purpose and a long-term vision.
Q2: What goals and expectations do you have regarding your new job?
My goal is to provide legal support that is clear, solution-oriented, and aligned with Korkia’s business goals. I’m particularly excited to deepen my expertise in renewable energy investments and contribute to projects that generate lasting value. I also look forward to learning and growing in a collaborative environment, working closely with developers and colleagues across legal, investment, and project teams.
Q3: A book that left a lasting impression on you
Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s Antifragile has stayed with me ever since I read it. The idea that certain things actually benefit from stress, unpredictability, and even chaos has been valuable for me — not only in legal work and decision-making, but in life more broadly. As a parent, I find it offers a helpful perspective on raising resilient children and learning to embrace uncertainty rather than being frightened of it.
