Michael Sandberg has joined Korkia as Director of Joint Venture Management! Michael has 12 years of experience from the Finnish wind power business. He has i.a. worked as Country Manager at Prokon Regenerative Energien and Renantis. From origination to ready-to-build, managing project transactions, and setting up joint developments – Michael’s extensive experience from renewable energy project development surely is a perfect fit for Korkia!

What made you apply for a position at Korkia?

Korkia is in an interesting growth phase with its increasing focus on renewable energy. I believe that with my previous experience from the field, I can play an important part in developing the concept further and building our future success.

What are your strengths in your new role?

I would say I am efficient in finding and learning about new business environments. I am a fast learner because I very quickly grasp the essentials of any process. Stakeholder relations is another strength of mine. I am skilled at building close and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders.
