Korkia was awarded two prizes in Scandinavian Financial Research’s recent customer study on institutional asset management: the SFR Award and the Responsible Investment Award. The study highlights expertise in renewable energy as one of Korkia’s strengths. Korkia is now the fifth most utilised infrastructure operative.

Korkia was awarded two prizes in Scandinavian Financial Research’s recent customer study on institutional asset management: the SFR Award and the Responsible Investment Award. The study highlights expertise in renewable energy as one of Korkia’s strengths. Korkia is now the fifth most utilized infrastructure manager. According to the study, a significant number of institutional inverstors are intending to increase the share of infrastructure investment in their portfolios.

Institutional Investment Services, Finland 2023 by Scandinavian Financial Research is a comprehensive study of institutional asset management, carried out annually to learn about Finnish institutional investors’ experiences of asset managers and their future investment plans. The study assesses asset management companies using various quality criteria on a scale of 1–5. The companies are assessed by e.g. insurance companies, foundations and pension institutions.

The prize awarded to Korkia was granted on the basis of ”Service Performance: Average of All Criteria, Challengers & Specialists, Grade Average”, in which Korkia was the only company to obtain over 4 points. In addition, Korkia received excellent points for ”Ability to take a market view”.

Korkia was also rewarded for responsible investments: The company was awarded a prize under the criterion ”Sustainable Investment, Challengers & Specialists, Grade Average”.

The study shows that Korkia is the fifth most utilized infrastructure manager. According to the study, there is room for growth in the market, because as much as 44 percent of the responding institutions intend to increase the share of infrastructure in their portfolios.
